The Maid of the Forth offers a unique venue with stunning views from April through to the end of October, ideal for a variety of private events and functions. Whether you're planning an office gathering, family celebration, corporate event, or team-building day, we can tailor our services to meet your needs.

We warmly welcome large groups and coach parties and offer the flexibility to tailor your trip to your group's preferences. If you can't find a suitable sailing on our timetable, we're happy to arrange additional sailings to fit your requirements.

Daytime Events: The 'Maid' can accommodate up to 200 guests during the day, allowing ample space for large groups to enjoy a scenic, leisurely cruise with panoramic views of the Forth and surrounding landmarks.

Evening Events: We recommend keeping guest numbers to around 60-80, which is the capacity of our heated lower deck. Entertainment and catering options may affect available space; please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Subject to availability, we can offer an array of entertainment options to set the right mood for your event. Choices include our Resident Folk Band ‘Pure Malt, DJ and Disco, and an adult-only Silent Disco. 

Affordable Menu Choices: Catering packages start at £6.95 per person for coffee and cakes.

Popular BBQ: Our barbecued rib-eye steak is available at £10.00 per person. A vegetarian burger option is also available.

Customisable Menus: We accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice and can tailor menus to your preferences.

All beverages must be purchased from our well-stocked onboard bar, featuring a wide selection of wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, and snacks. We also offer customisable drink packages and can provide specific brands upon request to suit your event preferences.
