Folk music cruise

Our resident Folk Band, ‘Pure Malt’, is returning for their 16th year on board the Maid for our popular Folk Music Cruises. With a dedicated fan following, these talented musicians excel at entertaining and creating an unforgettable atmosphere on board this 3-hour trip set against the stunning scenery of the Firth of Forth.

Expect a fusion of classic and modern Scottish and Irish folk melodies, including timeless favourites such as 'Whiskey in the Jar', 'Caledonia' and 'Green Grow the Rushes'.  Get ready to immerse yourself in an evening of musical enchantment and a spirited sing-along.

Don't forget to add your preferred supper option on the extras menu if you wish to dine with us, as these must be pre-booked.  We offer a BBQ Ribeye Steak on a brioche roll with garnish, or a Veggie Burger on Brioche.  Any other dietary request must be made directly to the Ticket Office.

We do not offer advanced table or seat reservations, it’s a first-come, first-served basis. Our main saloon booths each seat 6, with some larger tables at the rear of the vessel. There will be plenty of space for everyone to be accommodated inside at a table, but you may need to sit together with others.
