Maid of the Forth Alloa Folk Cruise

Stunning 3 hour special cruise, departing Alloa Quayside and heading up river, along 'The Windings' towards Stirling. The 'Maid' passes Alloa Inch, squeezes through the remains of the old Alloa swing railway bridge, past the old Royal Navy ammunition depot at Bandeath, past the village of Fallin, and all the way up to the A91 road bridge across the river. We then spin around and retrace our route back down the river. We are always treated to fantastic sunsets on this trip against the spectacular backdrop of the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and the Ochil Hills.

Entertainment is provided by our resident Folk Band 'Pure Malt' as you sail.

This cruise will include a supper of BBQ Ribeye steak on a brioche roll, with a garnish of coleslaw and crisps. There is also a vegetarian option but this must be precooked by calling our office on 0131 331 5000 after purchasing your tickets.

While we endeavour to run this cruise every year, we are limited by a number of factors, including tidal conditions, daylight hours and other bookings in our extremely busy schedule.

At the moment we don't have a suitable date for 2024 but are already looking as possible dates for the 2025 season.
